Definitely keep the Handy over trading for Weller 12.

I had that thought (but it would need to more than 1:1 trade), however on a bay area forum someone wanted a Handy in a 1:1 trade for Old Rip Van Winkle, so I agreed to that. Luckily there was someone making the drive there to here this weekend so the transfer is going to be easy.

I've only heard good things, but have never tried it. Will crack it shortly! We've got a handful of Jack experts in here that can offer up their thoughts, too.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
That stuff is in nearly every store here. But i am only a couple hours from Kentucky.

    Still haven't tried it though.

I can drink that while I can barely tolerate Jack. It tastes way more like a real bourbon.

It took me about 18 months of looking to catch these two bottles. I wasn't looking too hard for the first year...then I became slightly obsessed and finally set up a text alert with a liquor store chain and managed to snag these online. The guy at the checkout didn't even know that they ever stocked it, I'm assuming because it gets bought online for pickup before ever hitting the shelf.

It seems people either love it or hate it. Regardless, congrats on catching those Eagles! I know the struggle.

Never knew Willett put out a BiB under their house brand. They've got Old Bardstown BiB, which I've yet to try. Looking forward to you snagging some and letting us know what you think.

My favorite is still bookers on a good batch, but I live in PA which has state controlled liquor sales which mean the rare stuff is even harder to find.

Good stuff indeed. What are your favorite batches? I'm looking to expand my Booker's collection.
