What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Did you buy a whole new driveshaft or just the joint? Is the joint something you can get and install between the 2 shaft pieces yourself?

 

Depends on the device you're using, not the head unit.
As long as your phone/tablet can connect to multiple Bluetooth devices, you'll be fine. My phone connects to the OBDII reader, head unit, and my watch at the same time with no issues.
Also note: Bluetooth OBDII readers are not compatible with crApple without specific adapters.

A driveshaft shop will have to install it in your current driveshaft. The driveshaft would need to be cut and shortened, then they could install the cardan joint and then balance it as an assembly.

 

No it doesn't. My mirror is just a mirror, no compass, auto dim or home link.

 

I bought the vertical surface mount from ultra gauge. I'll stick it to the windshield and hope the adhesive holds up.

 

So I need some advice. I’m looking into getting skids since everyone is having a sale currently.
Do I really need the full skid trilogy? Because money is tight-ish, and I’d like to buy only what I have to.
I still have the factory skid, should I go full trilogy or just one of them?

 

I did all 3 but I would go with what’s comfortably affordable. Deffinately start with the front ifs skid and work your way back

I've had mine on my windshield for about 2 years, and I haven't had any problems with it coming loose.

 

Guess it depends on your driving and off-roading time. Also have you looked in the BST threads to see what others are selling?

 

Replaced my factory fogs with a set of Diode Dynamics 3" SS3 Sport fog lights.

 

Do you ever catch any shit over you Retro Headlights when you get your Tacoma inspected?

Do you have the Ultra-Gauge? Is the wire long enough to reach the OBD2 connector if I mount it where I want?

Today I'm a gonna reroute the rear diff breather. According to what I have read, beer is a requirement tools optional.

 

I have one that works on wifi and then use bluetooth for music.

 

I have. Not a whole lot being sold. I missed out on a good deal on RCI near me and am still kicking myself.

 

I ended up buying rci front and fuel skids because they were a good design and shipping wasnt thru the roof. I looked at Cbi skids originally but they wanted a lot of money to ship. so just depends on where you are located and everything. Most companies that make skids have good designs today, so just find one in a thickness of material that should work for your means and then find the closest company to you...lol
