Hello everyone, my name is Hong and I reside in SC palmetto state!!!

I own a 2017 tacoma Ted off road and I been having this issue where I press the gas between speed range of 15 to 20 mph and I’ll be around 1600 to 2000 rpm. It starts sputtering and once it passes the 2000 rpm it drives normal at first it thought it was skipping the cylinder so I replaced the spark plugs but it’s still happenings I would greatly appreciate you guys if you can help.

    V/r.

    Hong

Is it still under warranty? If so, take it and have it checked out.

    A few.
I was noticing a similar issue using when driving at 40-45mph and maintaining speed. A light jerking. After switching to 91 octane I don't notice it anymore.

I was also thinking that it could be a bad Kroger gas.. lol but just didn’t understand why it would only happen at 1600 to 2000 rpm ish

Does it stutter at that rpm without a load on it. So free rev it to that rpm and see if its still there.

Try a bottle of injector cleaner, something good like Lucas fuel system cleaner.
See if that flushes it out.

OP said he replaced plugs to remedy the problem. So the issue was present before the plugs were changed.

Could be dirty MAF sensor. Could be vacuum leak. But it's blind troubleshooting unless you hook up a scan tool and look at live fuel trims and intake flow rate.

Did you ever get the crank sensor recall done? https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RCRIT-17V356-3920.pdf
