Hey guys I'm new to tacoma world! I was just curious if the clunk sound slowing down here and there is normal? I have noticed i have only heard this sound when the vehicle isn't fully warmed up all the way yet. I have seen where people were saying the dealer can do an update to the computer and make it shift smoother but it shifts as should just have that occasional clunk sound when still cold coming to a stop and down shifting...

Normal, could try hitting your grease points on the drive shaft/s if you have them.

I was never really dis-pleased with my 2018 TRD Sport AT, however TBS-0062-18 did make it shift even smoother, or at least seemed too.

Kevin do u think I should ask dealer if the update had been done already on truck or just leave it be if I'm not having any major issues?

Have you owned a pickup truck before? They tend to be a bit less refined than regular cars/SUVs.
