If you’re at all computer savvy and can read (yes. That is a constant issue) then you’ll be fine.

I’ll let you know this in a few weeks.
Although. With my set up I’m usually getting 16-17

You won’t need any TSB update for a 19 as there isn’t any. My initial guess is your ECU ID is going to be 04B31.

    Cool, thanks.

When my OEM rubber wears out I'm jumping to the ST Maxx in the 255/85 flavor. Right now I'm averaging 19+.

You will like the tune. Don’t over hype it in your head. If you want a beta tune that feels like a performance tune let me know and I’ll send you the file since it’s not on the website anymore. If you want a really well rounded tune download the 19800 from the website.

At first wanting to try something basic. Later on wouldn’t mind trying the performance tune just to say I tried it but 99.9% sure I won’t stick with that due to drastically higher overall cost in fuel. Now if it gained performance and made it gains 3-4 mpg along the way then would be considered but even I know that’s not going to happen. That’s one thing I read about from other folks complaining is that my truck isn’t going to outperform a mustang so don’t bother trying. My truck has literally done everything I needed it to flawlessly. I’ve even passed people quickly on the highway which is exactly the only time I need power.

Another question while I’m thinking about it through if you don’t mind. On the big thread of OVTune people mention a way to apply for license early on to avoid wait times. Truly unsure of what I need to do for this situation but anyone know what steps I need to take? Thanks

Have you had a chance to install it yet? If so what are your thoughts? I'm in the same position you were in. I've been thinking long and hard about purchasing the tune myself.

I’ve had it for about 4-1/2 months and it’s worth it to me. If you have a 2019 it’s a little finicky but fix is coming on 2.0 final

Finicky in what sense? Any idea when the fix will be out?

Not sure when the fix will be out as it depends on when OVTune releases it. Shouldn’t be long though so within the next 4 weeks maybe?

As for finicky there’s only two issues. One is minor and just a noticeable thing where when you accelerate at medium throttle it shifts fine but let’s say you shift from 1-2 at 3000 rpm then 2-3 also at 3000 rpm, then 3-4 shifts early around 2400 rpm and accelerates slower. This happens with no change in throttle.

The other problem is when you press the gas to the floor and accelerate. There are times when it cuts itself out like its hitting the rev limiter or fuel is being cut. It last about 1-1/2 seconds and then back to normal acceleration. It’s weird but I don’t drive wide open so it’s not an issue for me and only noticed when max throttle to the next shift point.

Okay, thanks for your insight. As of now, I'm still undecided whether to bite the bullet or not.

Does OVTune track VINs that have been tuned? I bought my 18 used and I'm curious whether or not the PO put a tune on it.
