Yes I did the ADD delete. I'm using the FJ diff tube and FJ TC. So how is there something wrong with that if that's the same setup that's in the FJ? Go for it. No loss in MPG, no issues... except that I got rid of my 4x4 ECU and have the OEM electronic locker. DOH!! So, I bought the 12V guy elocker harness/switch and I'm going to wire that up and essentially that will be my "locker anytime mod" by bypassing the 4wd ECU.

Ain't that the truth. RST takes forever to get anything done. Believe me if you saw the inside of his shop you would wonder how anything gets done. Total disaster. Nice guy though.

Super nice guy... but nice doesn't pay the bills or get the job done all the time. He ends up overpromising a bunch of stuff to make up for not delivering what you paid for and then just doesn't deliver anything.

Hate to admit, I lost a lot of faith and respect for him in my dealing and would most likely refuse to give him any future business if it wasn't absolutely necessary.

The only thing I really needed from rst was the twin stick Since there isn't any other ones out on the market that I like. I hope someone seeing these conversations comes out with a nice twin-stick setup for sale since it doesn't seem like there's much competition out there. Unfortunately, the only other thing that's Hopefully in the near future Is a dual transfer case And unfortunately Marlin crawler is a little slow to.

    Edit: kinda sucks

Gotcha. I have a set of front range twin sticks chilling in the garage I’m no longer using. I know he was using those for a time.

I don’t... I’ll see if I can get one. My cut was fairly large because I wanted to be able to access the top four bolts through the hole.

How did you manage to get the range to shift into 4LO while keeping the hole inside the little coin tray? I had to cut about 1/2" further to the passenger side and about a full 1" further forward to be able to shift into 4LO.

My cut ended up like this:

This may be the wrong place to ask but maybe not. I am doing a pre runner to 4wd conversion as a few have done before me.

I picked up my trans today (a750f) and the fj transfer case. Both out of 2010 Tacoma (same as mine ) and a 2010 fj. I noticed on the FJ tc there are two electrical plugs on it. I have searched through most not all but most of the pre runner threads for these specific plugs and can’t seem to find them mentioned. Are these used for me or are they just capped off. I tried searching in here but I Can’t figure out the right words to search for. Any help is greatly appreciated. I just want to make sure I go back and get the wires if I’m going to need them or figure out what to build.
