Maybe a dumb question. Anyone tow on 265/75/16 with stock height? I looked through the first 20 pages and didnt see much. Will towing a 2,500lb boat cause rub on stock suspension with this size tire? Thanks.

I guess my only fear was rub on the ramp when retrieving. Heavy boat on a steep angle. But I trust you. Ordered a new wheel and tire setup today. Will post pics soon.

Finally installed my JBA upper control arms and increased my lift to about 2.25” in the front. Still rolling on 265/75s. But they had some Cooper AT3 XLTs at the alignment shop today and I’m having a really hard time convincing myself that 285/75s wouldn’t be awesome. :annoyed:

I wish i threw all my money into a lift kit instead of my "overland" bro gear LOL! but its easier for me to part out my truck if I upgrade.

That’s a nice setup. I’ve got some 0 offset f5 wheels waiting to make a tire decision. Any more pics of side profile or directly down the side from the front/back would be awesome.

Nope. It's only like 2.5 mph @ 70mph. I have way more things I want to spend $250 on than that.

Suspension is cheap if you consider that you get to enjoy it 100% of the time your driving your truck. Broverland gear looks cool I guess.

Edit: Although I would like that awning you have.

Ye I'm looking to get a set of 5160 6112. with med pack. I'm pretty scared to work on my suspension.... I got my awning off a member last year, he didn't use it so its was still brand new $170? 7FT! gotta love it! better than those 4ft awning.....

Sometimes I wonder if I should have gone with the 5160s. But I only paid like $100 for the pair of 5125s so I’ll live for now. What brand is your awning?

NEW INFO: So I got into some flexing situations recently and found that my 265/75R16s on -12 offset wheels DO rub at full left during max suspension compression. Where as my stock +25 wheels dont. Probably old knowledge for most but maybe this will help at least one person in the next 100 years. Oh and I am running 6112s on the tops (2 inch lift). At the time of the original post, I had a 17' no lift. Now I run a 2020 with 2 inch lift.
