shit like this makes me want to take our daughter and move to some remote spot in the mountains/forest away from most people and tech. This is what happens when the need for social media/viral internet fame supersede any and all common sense.

I suppose this is marginally better than the tide pod challenge, but really it's all the same disease

You can only do your best to raise kids with better judgement so that they don't subject themselves to peer pressure of pulling stupid shit like this.

It's a real shame though how people parent these days. I don't have kids but having been the oldest sibling helps; some of these parents have me wondering WTF

Replaced mine 8 months ago, only to pull them apart to use a different grease 4 months later.

I went with Whiteline bushings and Superlube grease (used a whole bottle) :anonymous:

I know every generation has it's thing, my parents complained about how much tv and video games we played as kids but I still have tons of memories of being outside and getting lost in the hills behind our house with my friends (before it got developed into neighborhoods), playing street hockey all day on weekends, traveling around the neighborhood via the underground storm drains in TX (stupid idea lol), staying out until the street lamps came on, etc.

With all the bad shit we hear on the news these days it's so easy to just hand kids an iPad or smart phone and have them entertain themselves with it from the safety of home rather than send them outside to be home by dark and not know what they're up to or who they're gonna run into. But I honestly think the constant screen time is more of a risk to the overall health. Lack of face to face socializing makes kids grow into teens and adults that don't know how to interact and socialize in person, social media doesn't make up for it...in fact I think it makes it way worse

So why not just move to the mountains and avoid people and social interaction entirely :rofl:sounds good to me :D

The sad part, it's not just with kids.

I meet plenty of people just a few years younger than me that are so god damn timid. Everything to them is a confrontation it seems...

Lol genuinely serious; you can't talk to someone without them getting their feelings hurt. God forbid you make eye contact and talk in a firm tone.
