    Hey Guys,

Im having a shop install bilstein 5100s, new control arms and an add a leaf in the rear. I was going to have them replace the Needle bearing with the ecgs bushing for safe measure because i dont want any vibration issues but my questions is will this void my factory warranty at all? My truck only has 6k miles so im still under my full warranty. Should i go ahead and do the bushing when my lift gets installed or should I not?

Install the bushing with the lift. Can't be certain about what warranties will be voided as all dealerships differ, but chances are that if it's anything related to the bushing, they could still deny the warranty based on your lift.

Also, make sure you use the recommended 85w140 Non-Synthetic Lucas differential oil after the replacement.

Just have them do it. You’re already out of warranty anyway (parts affected by lifts and that includes but not limited to needle bearing )

Do you have a source for the 85w140 non syn diff oil?

I just did a front and rear diff oil change, but used 75w90 synthetic. I couldnt find solid consensus online for what Toyota uses.

Since the warranty is a performance contract between the owner of the vehicle and Toyota...Toyota will not perform warranty work on parts not originally installed by them or perform warranty work on oem parts that were damaged as a direct result of an owner modification. As long as the two criteria above are not met your covered.

That is what is recommended with the ECGS bushing, by ECGS. But there is some consensus on using it for the rear differential too, which is what I run.
