2020 Power Seats install in 2018 3rd Gen?

I've got a 2018 MT with the 4 Way adjustable seats in it (Non-powered)

Question: How to obtain new Tacoma 2020 power seat seat and/or install something similar?

Problem: I'm 6'1 and every time I go to use the clutch I'm half way sideways because my knees don't fit under the steering wheel and they are pushed outward. A long day in city traffic has my knee getting mashed up.

- Called my local dealer and they only have parts. I've heard of people shaving down the back end of the cushion to create a small incline but I don't want to tear up the seat.

Maybe get a different steering wheel that comes out farther? (I've already adjusted to the max height and distance outward)

 

Search the forum, one guy got 4Runner premium seats in the Tacoma. I think he said they bolted right in. Last I saw he was working on wiring them.

 

Do you have a link to that one by chance? I couldn't find anything helpful in my searches so far.

 

I can’t seem to find it. From what I remember they were 2018 4Runner leather premium seats. He purchased from eBay. He said they bolted right in. He was working on wiring the power seat motors and the heat/cooling.
