I’m saying you can add better heated leather seats and sound and a cover for 3,000. So get the one you like the looks of better. Or if you want towing package. Don’t base it off the jbl and leather seats.

I am stupid happy with mine. But, there are a lot of factors (mods!) hiding behind that statement.

The Sport suspension is annoying mainly because of the front sway bar. I pulled mine off. It rides like an OR now without the brake dive. Killer on road and off.

I was also looking for the least expensive Taco with a long bed and tow package, so that led me to the Sport.

You are kind of looking at your purchase from a different perspective than I was. I am not really sure if my opinion help there. Hahaha!

I like the looks of the sport better.. does that make up fot it?
Are the non heated cloth sweats much worst than the leather heated?
Is the ride worst in the sport?
Is the jbl and sun roof worth it?

I paid about $32.5k with 26,000 miles for my 2017 Sport with the factory t-cover, 2 inches of leveling, heated seats, upgraded JBL, upgraded wheels, larger KO2 tires, tow package back in June of last year for reference. In checking around then, I thought I had a pretty good deal. The t-cover was listed on the original sticker for $850 (I think).

Yes. Even on road, any uneven bump was annoying to me and got nasty comments from my wife. With it gone, everyone is happy.

I love heated seats, but can easily live without them with cloth. With leather, they are pretty much necessary.

    These posts kill me.

Go test drive them both and see what you like better. Crunch the numbers and see what is better for your budget. Then make a decision. Don’t let anyone on a forum on the internet dictate what is best for you.

I drove two trucks, the off-road model and this Sport. Both felt similar up and down the road. The Sport I bought had lots of upgrades, one of the reasons I bought it. The Sport rides just fine as far as I’m concerned. It’s a truck! I’ve seen lots of comments on ride on these Forums. You need to go drive and make your own choice. It’s never going to ride like a car. It’s a truck! For the money you are spending, don’t settle. Get what you like.

Worth it? That’s up to you. I’ve never really used sunroofs when I had them. But that’s ME. Drive them and you’ll know how they ride.

Of the two, I'd get the Sport and save the $2200
Find a used Tonneau on here for $700 of less, and you're in for $28.5k

With the $2k you saved, you can get beefy tires and/or other mods you'll want like a bed mat, pop & lock, better floor mats, etc...

Note: I don't like leather or sunroofs (they rob headroom), so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I Love my 2017 Limited 4WD that I bought 6 mins ago. Same price and same mileage. Everything in the interior is way better. Small things. I think the power sliding rear window is my favorite, along with blind spot monitor. The power rear slide became standard - I think - in 2018.

I have power slider and blind spot monitoring on my 2017 Sport, and I do like these features. It’s a great feeling when you are able to look back at the purchase you made and reflect that you made the right choice. It’s a fun vehicle to drive.
