I think maybe one day I'll come up with a recipe book for real folks. My recipes are more proportion based than actual measurement which @Twizted hates (bacause I can't recreate a pound cake I made back in the day...smh). I once wrote "add enough black pepper that you think you added a little too much" to a potato salad recipe.

Well, I tend to agree that the folks on "whatever" are solid and we don't have many snowflakes on here, unless they stumble in here by mistake. That said, some of the other threads have some pretty fragile folk who will report at the slightest sign of impropriety.

I'm with @Twizted. I measure everything and my creations come out consistent (mainly homemade waffles, blueberry muffins, banana bread, etc.). I bake or cook breakfast on the stove but don't do a lot of full on meals.

 

Your oven needs a good cleaning...
