too cheap to pay for another adobe illustrator subscription

 

One of my side project ideas is to build a similar app for android

not quite to that level of free time or interest yet

IIRC there are a lot of great artists on Fiver if you are ok with paying someone overseas to do it at a price that undercuts local artists

 

Fuck, I keep going back and looking at places to rent in Tx; so fucking cheap even around the area where my dad has a house at.

I'm not familiar with Affinity... have you used it before?


I'm "proficient" in GIMP and had decent use of PainshopPro waaaaaay long ago

 

If I ever leave my company I'll switch over to Affinity...the whole Adobe monthly payment plan business model sucks compared to being able to buy the program outright.

As it stands, I just use my Adobe login from work to use it at home. Can run it on 2 computers per registration I think

I've looked up the Affinity photo program and it really does look comparable to Photoshop. I hear it still has a ways to go though for the more advanced stuff but it's getting there

 

yeuhp. I think in the long term I'll probably end up somewhere in the south or the midwest where I can afford to have a lot more space for my money... even if it means giving up the mountains of CO

I've only been through CO multiple times but never really spent any time there.

Always loved driving through CO though
