Elizabeth City area? Aside from Hurricane flooding that aint bad. I'd move there in a heartbeat. I hear VA is enacting a bunch of new taxes and such this year. Good time to come south.

Yeah? I believe it. Was just talking to my brother that's down there just now. One of his other dentists that he owns practice with was military and owns multiple rentals in Killeen area. That dentist keeps asking him, 'when tf is your brother moving down here?!? I'm tired of calling bums to work on my properties!'
Lol, Was telling him it may be sooner than later that I go. He's all for it.

Dude I stayed in a huge ass house on the water there in NC for like a month during summer break. I think I was 9 or 10. Best friends grand parents owned it. It was just like that. Pic shot memories I hadnt thought of in a long time. There were eels I remember!
    I can't believe it's that cheap!!

You work from home? Retired? Not much for work out there unless you wanna open a cheezy beach themed motel or seafood restaurant.

A buddy at work bought himself a new Macbook Pro like the one in the link. So he has converted to Macworld and said goodbye to Windows.

He gave me his old computers. I'm completely grateful and happy to get these "new to me" computers. I will put them to good use. I already have a plan for the Lenovo laptop. Now these are high versions of each respective model running Windows 10. The Lenovo is running Windows 10 home that is taking some getting accustomed to.

Here's the real kick. The Dell T410 is an Intel Xeon server. It has (6) 1 TB HOT swappable disk drives in the following RAID configuration.

    1) 1 TB RAID 1 (mirrored disk) system disk running Windows 10 and any other software. Uses 2 drives.

    2) 3 TB RAID 5 (recoverable) storage disks. Uses 4 drives.

    RAM 8 GB.

    Dual Power Supplies

Dual Xeon Processors (Windows 10 Pro may only need 1) and I may want to disable one of the processor sockets if it will perform better with 1. I'm not running Windows Server. I need to explore this one to learn more.

This may become an power consumption issue.

Six hot swappable front loading drive bays.

    Lenovo Ideabook

I need to check it out. It was loaded when new. My plan is to install TI$ on this computer since it is so lightweight.

Now there's an idea for excess processor capacity.

I'm moving up from 450 GB disk and 1 TB of external SSD to that monster. It will take me a long time to use that much disk.
