I just don't understand why people would leave? you can talk to anyone you want to talk to and ignore the ones you don't. I really like seeing all the new people come in here and ask questions and show off their trucks. What gets boring is when everyone has done all the mods and don't talk about trucks anymore. I enjoy the new trucks and talking people into hitting the trails. Its fun to see them do things on the trails that that wouldn't do the last time.
How many times have you heard can I fit 33s without a lift or will 35s rub. I would bet we have all ask these same things at some point. Like they say the greatest at anything was a beginner at one time. Any time you get a group of guys together the ego's are going to clash no matter where it is. They are always going to be my truck is better than yours, my lift is just ass good, my tires are the best... They will always be someone that someone don't like, that is just life. I come here to find offroading trips and to be a pain in everyone's ass. I actually ride more with people from Tennessee than from Alabama and I also ride with the Samurai guys a lot too. But no matter where I go there is always hurt feelings from time to time but I will always come back and talk with anyone that wants to talk.

It’s not any of that. It’s the promoting bad trail manners, bragging about doing nothing and actually doing poorly at it, being unsafe and seeing nothing wrong, acting like each thing you do is more manly and more correct than the next guy, pretending you have so much experience but then you ask the stupid questions. It’s a mentality this thread has created because of a couple of individuals and the way they are. That’s it. And they post ALL THE TIME

This is a public internet forum. Growth with new members is what keeps a forum alive. I like seeing new folks to this forum too! Ultimately, we all came here for the same thing, Toyota trucks, modding, wheeling, fellowship with others that share the same passion and making new friends along the way.

I found this thread looking for places to ride. And I’m also the new guy. And I haven’t asked will this tire fit or rub as for every word I type in text I read 40-50 times more than that. Joined in 2015 and don’t have as many posts as guys that joined a month ago.

Personally I like the look of a lifted truck. Not one of those trucks that flip in dirt if you turn the wheel and slam on the gas but one that’s lifted just enough to look good yet still increase ground clearance above stock. Was going to order 295/70/17 but with all the issues of this weird transmission I’m already worried 285’s will make the dang thing more finicky.

I guess I don't let things get to me and most of those things always come when someone new joins. I see people bragging and posting pictures of their truck when they ride across a small ditch, thats always been in here. Everyone is going to brag about their abilities and the ability of their trucks thats never going to stop. One of the biggest reasons I ride on the easy rides is to help the inexperienced riders correct what they are doing wrong and show them an easier way if I know one. I have never seen a man that didn't think they were more manly than others, lol. People learn from their mistakes better than from someone trying to tell them they are wrong, thats just life too but I wont let them hurt themselves or anyone else if I can.
It still blows my mind that people have left the thread because they don't like what members are saying. We are all different and that is what makes this thread fun. If what someone says is interesting to me I will talk with them if not then I just move on. Its funny to me that the older I get the less anything bothers me and I like it.
