What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Picked up my new Tepui rtt. Got 20% off, free shipping to my local REI store, a $20 gift card and at the end of the year I'll get 10% back to spend there next year. Also ordered RCI tranny and tcase skids. Then about 5 hours later got an email that said skid plates will be delivered on Monday.

Thanks for all the likes! Moved rear diff breather. I got it done with 4 empty Coors cans modified to despance beer. Used 3 Modelo bottles as wrenches.
I was gonna take pictures but my camera kept ringing.

 

What was done in the rebuild? New u-joints? Then the rest was added also? I’m just trying to figure this out. It had the vibrations before the lift and it’s been in the dealership 3 times in the past year and they have no clue.

Dual marine lighter socket blank with rubber caps to cover an old hole from an old CB power switch. This one is tapped into ignition power for now

 

finally got a 2nd battery in. had to relocate a bunch of shit and fab up a tray for the battery and air pump which took a while. now just have to wire everything back up and reroute my air intake. should be all set tomorrow.

 

I'm on the Diode Dynamics bandwagon. I installed these SS3 Pros today. If nothing else, they look cooler than the stock ones.

 

DIY Trasharoo is 96% finished.

Couple small things need tweaked and I’ll snap some pics in the daylight tomorrow.

 

Fun fact, I've never driven my truck without a canopy on it in the 3 ish years I've owned it....
