not entirely true. There was model, but i didn't think it ever came to market and I thought maybe somehow someway I'd missed it, or it was an old 1st gen iteration. I ain't the sharpest chisel.....

here, for your viewing pleasure (not photoshop)

If we can get color specific, would the moss green 2nd gen be considered rare?

or whatever color that green is

Sometimes I wish my truck had enough trail pin stripes so I could just wrap it, diggin that color. I'm also a huge sucker for olive drab.

I saw a 5lug flareside 1st gen this morning. That's pretty rare but I've seen them before.

That's the Tacoma V8 Incross, a one-off show piece for SEMA 2009. How I would have loved them to run with the 4.7L in a production model!

While the V8 swap is cool, I'm really liking the way the Access Cab / Short Box looks.

    well cause why not?

When i was looking for my 2021 TRD OR AC in Army Green a few different large volume dealers told me it was a "rare configuration". I have seen a TRD sport AC in Army Green but I have yet to see a TRD OR.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
I have an 07 4.0 liter access cab 4x4 sport manual transmission.

It has a CD changer! Lol

Within 2 miles from home I see 2 tacos with a stepside bed. Both are red. Other than those 2 I rarely ever see one on the road.

I would suspect the double cab 4cyl 5lug base truck they made in like 2011(?) would be the most rare. Hardly ever heard of a sale outside of fleet sales.

My 2006 Access Cab, 4x4, 5-speed manual, 2.7L was a hard to find truck I guess. I was approached about it back in 2012, and the guy offered me $3500 less than I paid for it new, and it had 70k miles. I didn’t even hesitate. Took his money and gave him the title.

Not sure why. It was a good truck, if under powered. Dependable. Not anything about it being over the top.

it's funny you mention this, I just saw one in Florida last week, not my favorite, they also added the 4x4 flares, yeesh

my brother looked for a while to find his 2013 AC 4wd 5-spd, he didn't even want SR5 (wanted manual everything) but there was nothing else in the area
