I hear you, I have the S2’s just need contemplating a little upgrade

 

I posted a comparison photo on the red v6 extremes when in parking(running) and brakes and there is definitely a difference- you’ll obviously see the bright parking (running) but when you press the brakes… red light district in full effect.

Keep hitting the back arrow at the bottom of this post until you get to it

edit: actually I didn’t- I guess I only posted the brake lights. Hit the arrow forward button 2 times

 

You giving me ideas. Sadly my wallet doesn’t agree. Haha, this should teach fakas from tailgating me at night.

Installed the other night. Like others, I get hyper flash when I have the brake lights applied and in reverse and hit the turn signal. I’m sure there’s a way to remedy that but I’m okay with it. Once you take it out of reverse and take off the brakes, the hyper flash will stop happening. I parallel park four times a year so it won’t bother me.

I have stock front signal bulbs

Everything is a “generic” led other than the switchback, which is somewhat specialized but still available elsewhere.

you can get replacements just by knowing the bulb number, ie 7443 LED red, all will fit. The switchback I’m not sure if I haven’t had to deal with anything like that before.

 

You can get a resistor if you contact them. Not sent out with the orders because most people don’t need them.

It never even occurred to me that scenario could be an issue, shows how little I parallel park. I suppose I should check, but I'm planning on buying the ultimate turn signals at some point anyway.

I had hyperflash on my 2019 SR, but only on my left turn signal during normal use (just turning it on while driving forward). Kinda weird. I contacted Meso and got the resistor pack in four days. Everything works perfect now and it took me five minutes to do.

 

My theory on this is the wiring for the rear of the vehicle goes down the drivers side and to the tail lights. Since there is less wiring= less resistance.
Then it has to loop over the the passenger side which is more wiring =more resistance. Not much...but just enough to satisfy the passenger side circuit resistance threshold. Again, this is my theory.

 

I like theorys. It shows a little bit of how much thought you put into your products!

 

I have a 2020 with the hyper flash problem. I also have a shipment from @MESO for the resistor to fix.

I don't parallel park much but do back in to spots a lot. I use the reverse/turn signals in this scenario or lose the spot to the person behind me.

I installed mine last weekend and thoroughly enjoy it. So I know, what is this hyper flash that is spoken of?

 

Blinker blinks rapidly.

 

When a vehicle detects a burnt bulb (no resistance) it will signal this with a hyper flash. LEDs have such a low load compared to a regular light bulb that the vehicle often sees it as a burnt out bulb and will trigger a hyper flash.
