What are you looking to spend

 

Well it all depends on year mileage, condition etc...what do you have?

 

Im in VT so the drive for you would be long. I have an 11 DCSB TRD TX with approx 89500 on it

 

Although it really isn't what we are looking for, i'll bite....what are you asking?

 

As it sits 25k. I am willing to remove canopy, winch, lights etc and drop price

I got a ‘13 single cab with 49k on it I’ll be selling soon. It’s got scratches and dents, but it’s 4wd, 4 cyl, 5 speed tho.

 

I’ve got a couple things left I need to do to it but I’m only going to ask 13k for it. Mechanically it’s brand new, I’ve only ever put synthetics in the engine and Lucas Dino in the diffs, redline in the trans. It’s got lce header on it, uni filter on the secondary air injection pump, the whole cab is sound deadened. The exterior is why it’s cheap.

 

Is this the same truck from your profile pic? You mention scratches and dents, are they from wheeling it? I see the one dent on the bed, where are the rest?

 

Yeah I’ve wheeled it, probably 2-3 times a year in 3 years. First week after I got it I was driving through some overgrown roads after an ice storm. Ignorant me didn’t think the icy branches would scratch the truck too badly, I was wrong. There is a good sized dent in the cab on the passenger side but the bed has the worst of it all. All in all, everything behind the front fenders has scratches/dents.

The only reason it’ll be for sale is because I found a good deal on a 4 door truck because we’ll likely be having another kid soonish. I basically swapped everything over from my truck to the double cab and vice versa. As soon as time and money allow I’ll be fixing it up more (repaint doors, replace bedsides, buffing etc.)

I have been tentatively considering selling my truck... this is a good opportunity to put it out there and see what i get offered i suppose....

Zero rust on frame, very slight on a few weld joints - will be touched up when weather breaks
All original except for a drop in filter and a 2.5" front lift with billi 5100s and a 1.5" AAL in the rear. Sits level or half inch rake (slightly higher in the back to keep level with a load)

Added window guards, painted the skid plate, has a like new tonneau cover, very few scratches on the box from before i bought it last spring, and none on the cab that im aware of presently.
Got 33s on it, they are Falken Wildpeak at3w on 2016 rims. TMPS sensors will not pair to the 2015 ecu, so if the light bugs you, new TPMS sensors would be needed. Doesnt bother me, so i aint spendin the $70 bucks.

Not a lot i can say except i bought it with 5k miles on it back in may or june i think of 2019, and i have 16k on it right now. Its almost paid off, but if it gets bought private sale i will just pay it off and get the lein release before the sale to make things easier. Never had an issue, runs like a champ, as it should with only 16k miles on it, and everything works as it should. I havent beaten it, just taken it down a few logging roads last autumn with my dad, nothing serious.

Almost forgot - i had a glasspack put in, so it sounds mean. i kept the stock muffler, i can include that if the glasspack is annoying to you.


Only reason i am considering the idea of selling, is that im hoping to get married this coming late fall or winter, and i need to save up cash... The idea of getting this paid off/sold and just finding a cheaper family car with 80k miles on it or so is what im interested in considering. I love my truck, i want to keep it till it just wont turn over anymore... but im open to the idea of making smart choices as i begin starting a family later this year, and if lettin that truck go means i get a more responsible start to my marriage, i will consider it!

Shoot an offer, but i will be straightforward - i simply wont take a penny less than the highest appraised KBB or Edmunds value - its mint inside and out aside from a couple scratches, it has trinkets and add ons, the lift kit, brand new tires and wheels, AAL, exhaust, etc.

I have almost 3k into the truck, and yes, i expect to get a premium because of the crazy low mileage for a five year old truck, because i paid a crazy premium when i bought it. Most of the 11k miles i put on in the past year are travel to see my girl, two states away, just in case youre curious.

EDIT: i had the steering intermediate shaft replaced under recall. I was hearing a random clunk this winter and when i brought it in they found the intermediate shaft was broken just as the recall/TSB notes. They replaced it under warranty, no charge. Other than that, no issues!

 

Guy here in Kansas selling one for 4k with 160k on it. Gonna go look at it for giggles.
