That doesn’t look like a campsite

 

So my bike is at a dealer about 1.5 hours away from me. I can either go get it and ride home or they’ll ship it. They’re closed tomorrow so I’m not going to get it and ride home. Trying to get ahold of them so I can line up shipping. Need to talk to my boss to see if I can work from home one day this week so I can take delivery of it

 

Some news is better than nothing.

 

Was hoping to get delivered this weekend buuuut if I can work from home and take delivery then I can go for a scoot after work since I won’t have to drive home and all that. We shall see. I’d love to drive up to get it and ride home down PCH, but I don’t wanna make my girlfriend drive there and then home haha

So I did a thing... Found this leftover 2019 grom for a great price.

 

Absolutely exhausting. Didnt realize it till we turned around to come back to the truck. Ended up with a bent clutch lever at the end of the day just from being worn out and dropping it. Still had the stock one as a spare so i threw that on for tomorrow.

 

Ha! The issue is getting there. I don’t wanna drive there I’m getting it delivered this week sometime

 

I finally rebuilt the front end of the Ninja yesterday afternoon. The previous owner laid it down and bent up the main bracket, which had the cowling, headlight and gauge pod all askew.
I was lucky enough to find some salvage Kawasaki parts locally and got everything back within spec.

This afternoon I will take it out for a scoot!

 

Liking them Biltwell Keystone bars......but I don't see that they're knurled. Deal breaker? New to the game, and obviously everyone has an argument when you read about certain things. What say you more seasoned fellas?
