LFA is seriously my favorite organization outside the UFC and honestly maybe even a touch more than the UFC I love love that organization. That being said. I’m a new Austin Hubbard fan! Gonna have to see if I’ve caught any of his fights. I bet I have !

 

He had 2 LFA fights before UFC called him. He fought Harvey Parks in May 2018 and a title fight against Killys Mota in Dec. 2018 You see those?

 

i just looked and i saw Both of them ! I was a big Harvey park fan going into that fight admittedly bc of his story and work in law enforcement. I’m a radiology resident and was impressed with the fight where he broke his hand. Horrible compound fracture and he fought through it and won (he sent me his xrays after the fight ) But after his fight with Austin I remember going away saying man that kid has got something special!

I liked Harvey. Good, respectful guy. Unlike Mota. The Mota fight was the fight where the ref let Aus beat on him for a long time before stopping the fight. There was a big uproar against the ref for that. To this day, Mota will shit talk to Aus and say he won the fight.

 

We also watched Parks next fight after Aus btw.... TONS of heart!

 

I just looked up the date of that fight bc I absolutely remembered seeing it. Dug deeeeep back into my twitter feed to 12/7/2018 and look what I tweeted that night lol. It was criminal. The man’s license should be pulled

I’m Miller J. I was retweeting that guys tweet with my comments. It was just nasty. Just so so so much unnecessary punishment. And what sucks is the fighters literally have to keep pouring it on bc u just never know

 

When it was finally called you can see Aus say “F*uck”. He couldn’t believe the ref let it go. It went on for like a minute or something like that. He said he almost felt bad but had to keep going.

 

Holy crap I'm over here thinking to myself "Holy crap when is the ref going to stop it?"

 

Dang Felder just retired. He had a good scrap w/Hooker

 

I thought Felder won that fight but it was very close. He did say he was going to go home and talk to his family.

 

We thought he won too.

 

While this was not a robbery, MMA judging needs to be cleaned up. These fighters work too hard to get screwed. I’ll be pulling for Austin (again) on his next fight!

 

That was a damn war wasn’t it !? That’s BMF worthy right there. Both guys just huge heart and grind in there. I thought Paul did enough and boy did he turn it on in the end. I could tell Hooker wanted that fight to be over and Paul was pouring it on even more like the veteran he is. If that is truly the end then thank you so much Paul Felder. Hell of a career. I just hope there’s more. One. Thing both of those guys can say tho is they both beat the F*uck out of James Vick!!!

 

Funny cuz I was actually thinking about this during the fights.
I like Hardy, he sticks to the fight without trying to be witty, but I miss Goldy..
