    We've been getting a boatload of rain, but no problems here at the house. The river that runs past town is way up. There's a public park on the river at the edge of town that is completely underwater but that's normal. :rofl:

    And in other news, last Friday, 14-February, my company decided to cut staff on the contract I was working on and I got my walking papers. At first I was upset, then pissed, then finally decided "Fuck it. It's time to retire."

    I called my financial guy and told him to get the ball rolling. Plus I'll be eligible for Social Security this April (yes, I'm that old) so why the hell not?
