    Thanks!
I have thought about it but I remember pulling the tag off them during install and it did say 700lb. I'll still call to see if they can or will do anything.

Picked this up today. Aux bed power for the additional charging and when I eventually get a fridge for back there.

My truck is now tuned. Finally installed OVtune tonight, Flashed 1.05 87 base since I'm on 04b03 and not 04b04. Initial impression seems to hold gears better and fixed a surge I'd get after slowing down to take a turn that would happen when I went back to the gas. I'll see how it feels through the next week to know how much I really like it. Might try and figure out how to flash to the truck to 04b04 and try 2.0 beta because why not but may just wait until it releases and not worry about it. I mean I've waited this long for OVtune and 2.0 release isnt that far away.

I'll let you drive the truck. Overall didnt feel a lot of change but its also on the base tune not the performance. I also only drove 5-10 miles to just to make sure I didnt break it in the process:rofl:. I mainly bought it to improve shifting and for when I re gear since hes making 4.88 and 5.29 tunes!

I would love to get them this year but I keep spending too much like usual.:annoyed: I have a heavy foot so the 85mph cut off would have bothered me with 5.29's on long trips. Now I wont have to worry about that!

Tax sale is going on until the 29th and so it saves $100. Thats what got me to finally make the jump. Plus I had more reasons to buy a laptop since I've also purchased the Hypertech calibrator to fix the speedometer. Still trying to get techstream working. I thought I had all set but it wasnt working today when I tried to use it.

It will probably be a while before you get it. Hes waiting on cables from china. It also took 2 weeks to get registration for my laptop so I could install the tune(didnt buy a laptop until I got the cable). If you need any help let me know! Once you get it purchased you can start the computer registration before you even get the cable. I have 1 more thing I'm waiting on before I tear my dash apart and install the hypertech. Hopefully I'll get it soon(was supposed to be delivered tuesday and now seems lost in the mail)and have everything installed in the next couple of weeks.

You got to take the dash apart to install it?

For the hypertech yes. You have to pull the speedo bezel out to unplug the wiring to put the hypertech in between. It's not hard I just have other wiring I want to get done at the same time so I can figure out the best routes to run the wires.

I think the speedo comes out with just a few bolts and doesnt require the rest to be removed that I'm going to do. I need to install and wire up my radar, meso stealth pro knob, meso chrome delete kit, meso vent rings and puddle light switch. Going to do some custom wiring to get my radar mute button wired to the pro shift knob button.

Well truck got cut up some more as we started the new Coastal Offroad bumper build yesterday! Still have to finish tacking on the side wings and hoop. Then Fully weld it all up, clean up all the welding with the grinder and finishing discs and then take it for prep and powder coat. Already setup time to work on it Thurs, Fri and can also work on it some Sat, hopefully that will be enough time to finish it up! Lovin the look even with it only put partially together.:yay: Also huge thanks to Maner @Bigdaddy4760 for the help in putting this bumper together!

Truck looks a little interesting until I get the new bumper installed.

Also finally found out why my new front kings are so bouncy... Been trying to figure out how the 700lb spring setup I ordered bounced more than my last OME 886's which were only ~650lb springs.
Clip from my order sheet showing I did indeed order 700lb springs.
    King front order.jpg
Pic of the text on the springs installed.
    20200307_162147.jpg
The tag attached on each coilover said 700lb but the springs dont say the 700 on them... Seems a mistake was made somewhere assuming that text on the spring means they are a 600lb spring rate. I never thought to check the actual spring during install since the tag was correct for my order. First time I looked at the springs on the truck I didnt see the info printed on them.:annoyed: Emailed the company that I ordered through today so we'll see what they say and will do about the labeling mistake.

Thanks! Maner's @Bigdaddy4760 is teaching me a lot when it comes to metal. Hopefully we'll have it fully welded together on thurs/fri and start cleaning it up. Which is also when I'll start learning to weld. :yay::welder:Hes done all the tacking for me so far.

Nice! Melting metal is fun. Wish I had done more of it and learned more of that skill when I was younger.
