I was just wondering because I bought a 97 tacoma v6 4x4 and currently own a 4 cylinder 4x4 96 tacoma, are the leaf springs on the v6s different than the 4 cylinders. it seems like the 6 cylinder truck sits higher than my 4 cylinder however both trucks have about 177k on them each. As far as I know my 6 cyl i bought came factory with 31s and my 4 banger came with 225s stock. Any info on this would be helpful.

Thanks I thought they were. My 4 cylinder ones are pretty worn out then i guess and the v6 ones are either replaced or held up better lol.

Your two 1st Gens are probably worth more than my 2nd Gen!

I picked up the 97 for a great deal as my project tacoma. I was thinking about starting a build/restoration thread on here. Its a v6 automatic 4x4 power windows, locks, and cruise control.
