@Noelie84 when you went to Islay, did you wing it our use a guided tour service? I'm trying to work through some logistics before booking a flight.

I'd like to do our own thing out there if we can, but the guided tours have some appeal given that there's less concern for everything that isn't whisky related. My wife won't be drinking anything and could drive if we self-guide... but asking her to drive on the wrong side of the road would be a disaster

Seems like there are quite a few buses that run during the tourist season, so we may just rely on them. How'd you work out travel logistics on the island?

Update for everyone of the Glencairn order. The glasses had been delayed by our vendor but they guaranteed us they will arrive by this coming Wednesday. At which point I’ll start running the orders on the laser and getting ready for billing and shipping. I apologize for the delay. They didn’t let us know there was a delay until we called asking where our order was. Also going to test out a couple of new Glencairn designs if they come out well I’ll post up some pictures here when they are done.

Tried Skrewball for the first time last night. I don't think I would want to sit and sip it but as a shot while out drinking beers it was nice and smooth. May be my new go-to shooter before football games and the like.

I shared some whiskey with another neighbor... First time I've shared with anyone since my neighbor who introduced me to Jack Daniel's passed away last year.

For the first time in about 3 months I was able to drive my Camaro (broke leg in October). Charged the battery, checked the tires, rad, oil then dusted it off and cranked it over. Did a few laps around the neighborhood and man, it felt great. The temp is now 70 and life is good. Having a dram+ of Nikka Pure Malt to celebrate.

    WTF are you drinking?!

    Beautiful! You're livin' right

Glad you're about to get behind the wheel again. I bet that was a killer hiatus.

My first car was a second gen, always wanted to get a first gen for resto. Got a lot of good memories building Camaros with my dad and my brother when I was a kid. Now I'm messing with these damn computer controlled toyotas and I don't know what's what

There's something to be said for low tech.

My first Camaro was a 1970. I'd like to get another 70-73, but 1) I have single car garage, 2) their prices have gone through the roof in the last few years, and 3) my fiance would kill me!

Yessir, their value is getting crazy, specially the split bumpers... but I guess they're getting rarer every day. My first one was an 80Z but got sent into the K rail on the highway by some drunk mfer... just as I had saved up enough to repaint it, but then I took those savings and picked up a 79 shell and frame, and built it up to a speeding ticket magnet.

GD it, now I've gonna cruise the auto for sale ads

I’m wanting a 69 Charger. General Lee but with modern suspension and a hellcat engine in it (I’d be more than happy to put them in myself).
