Here ya go. I was super bummed at the wheel color in the box but once we put them on the tires they looked way better. Still kinda unsure about the blue but it’s much better than I expected.

Everyone makes it seem like 285s and stock suspension is so hard when it’s really not. I figured people blew it out of proportion and they do to and extent. Honestly all I’ve needed was the heat gun to make them fit. It’s not as bad as a lot of people here make it seem.

FN Wheels guy said he has the same setup on his tundra but 17s and it looked good so I decided to get them since they’re out of bronze.

There’s a difference in the definition of fitment.

To some it means more than what it does to you. So.. just because they fit inside and don’t rub when you turn, doesn’t mean much. When you don’t have limitations of stock suspension, it means even less.

    But hey.

Yeah but I think it’s kinda dumb to tell someone you HAVE to do CMC or pinchweld or cut the entire fender off your truck if you want to be able to drive it on stock suspension with 285s. Mine doesn’t rub AT ALL on mild off road in turns or reverse or anything with just a heat gun. Some people really make it seem like you have to cut your entire truck up just to drive it home from the shop.

Dude i think they are a good bang for your buck. Doesnt ride as harsh as people think they do. But thats because I come from having a slammed car lifestyle and riding lifted was nice to not go over speedbumps at 0.00001 mph. Its not really bumpy... its better than having a medium dakars pack and leaving you wanting more support in the rear... thats just my concept is to have it and not need it, than to need it, and not have it.

Thanks, I get you on the slammed lifestyle. I had my old S2k on some very stout coilovers, hitting speed bumps at 5 mph could actually get the rear end off the ground. Yeah I want HDs for the rake and so I dont find myself wanting more load capacity later.

edit: Thats not even your truck. I dont buy it. Those things were bolted on for those pictures and thats it. Theres no way it would be drivable. You couldnt turn the wheel more than a half turn before those tires ripped the fender flares off the truck.
