Dented the ECGS bushing replacing a needle bearing last weekend. Oops. Works though :bananadead:

Letting my husband convince me to buy 33s for the truck without either of us knowing how much extra work we were going to have to put in to make them fit right.
    That was embarrassing, lol

I used yellow film to tint my fog lights instead of upgrading. They’re pretty rough looking up close. Air bubbles and folds

That’s exactly how I’m feeling, have a 1.5”-2” AAL in the rear plus a 1” block, one of my 5100 is leaking. Do I just upgrade the shocks or go full out with leafs.

Went 265/75 Wildpeake ATs when I really wanted 285s or 315s because of some other things that were going on in my personal life. I've now ditched her so I'm gonna be upgrading to new tires after less than 15,000 miles.

Bilstein 5100 at 2.5 inch OME dakars with the big overload removed 265/75/16 on stock wheels 290,000 miles and counting
I would get a full set of leaf packs if its in the budget. I've had two sets of OME dakars and I really like them.

I was debating URD SPEC-U headers but I’ll be honest, the removal of the studs on the block makes me nervous. Especially on a 7 year old Canadian Tacoma in the salt belt.

    Cheap Amazon aux lights.

Fender flares are all scarred up and the plastic tabs inside are broke so instead of getting pocket style flares painted some bolts black, drilled the flares and threaded into fender to keep from flapping.:bananadead:

nada....maybe a license plate one day & BA bumpers
in 7 years of ownership, I have never taken my taco to a mechanic or dealership for any service (except tire replacement)
did it all in my garage....frugal (cheap) Asian Indian checking in here
    & I NEVER WILL

    why?
    1. I dont want to spend the $$$ on a mechanic
    2. I dont want to waste my time sitting in a shop waiting hours for my car to get serviced
    3. I dont want to deal with the occasional human error associated with auto work
(poor underpaid/overworked auto techs of the world)

as far as sinning....IDK, I worship my taco by riding the snot outta her & washing her rear real good
    :)

Don't hate me but my wheel spacers make me feel like I'm 14 instead of 54. But I put them on because my Wildpeaks were rubbing my UCA at lock. Now that we're on the Wildpeaks: I'm turning into an old man. I miss a smooth ride like I have on my Continentals on my wife's Subaru Outback. :anonymous:

My k&n air filter was vibrating on its air box, instead of repositioning the bracket, I cut a garden hose down the middle and lined the inside the opening of the box, to stop the vibration :/ ......4 years ago

5100's tend to weep, as long as it is still dampening (doing its job) leave it alone.
Factory leaf packs suck, Ill report on the OME Dakars next week.

When I did the TSB rear spring upgrade, I took the original factory springs, cut them down and added them into the TSB pack, including flipping the original overload and including it. So I have 6 factory springs and the bottom overload.............it still sags with my Leer shell and daily work tools.

I broke my taillight and patched it up with packaging tape over a year ago. Had to replace the tape last month....
