Do you have any black/narrow strap kits available? Just bought an Interstate battery for my 2015, now the stock strap won't reach.

Taking a chance someone is on here on Sunday morning that can lend a hand of advice. I must have a thin battery bc I have an adjustable tie down but everything is loosey goosey maybe the.j hooks are too long or i need non nylon locking nuts? I’ve got a lot of gap here any advice. Best pics taken with one hand trying to hold and show the extra length. Battery is 24F FYI Mod delay blues :(

It looks like you will just have some threaded rod sticking out the top of the locking nut.

Screw them down. It should make up O.K. Then if you want, mark it with a sharpies and use a hack saw to cut off the excess.

What’s preventing you from continuing to tighten the nuts so the threaded rod extends completely through the loc-nut?

These nuts have some nylon or something threaded in then to where u can’t tighten them down far. They stop. (I don’t know the terminology but they essentially stop)
Perhaps I could use wingnuts ? Would be easier to get off. Had to hunt down my 10mm deep socket to get original off

You should just be able to keep threading the nut down. The idea of those nuts is that the threads 'cut' into the plastic, making a tight fit, preventing the nut from loosening.

Migh need a 10mm wrench (or an adjustable if yiu don't have a 10mm wrench) but it should go down. Might be easier to remove J rod from truck and get the threads through the plastic first, disassemble, and the reassemble

Appreciate it fellas. Got her done and thanks to @Coupe for such fine fabrication! The man does amazing work in Houston. I’m doing the fuse box cover next. Waiting on it to warm up just a few more degrees this afternoon for adhesion. Anyone got any good ideas for new/Replacement battery terminals? Kinda thinking something tech like with acrylic cover or possibly digital meter reading.

Couldn’t wait much longer. Had to finagle the wires around my amp fuse holder a bit, but had to complete the look, couldn’t stand not having it installed.
