Their stuff is all awesome. Never used any of it, but would love to find where someone has done a chemical analysis or breakdown or whatever so we can know what would be comparable.
What'd you use it on? Plastic safe?

Yeah, I've only got the one. Little guy, about 20lbs. Chihuahua and poodle mix. Not the annoying Chihuahuas either.

If you are a member and buy a lot of parts, they distribute annual dividends based on the percentage of patronage.

Its like a not-for-profit electric cooperative company that distributes a percentage of retained earnings back to the members at the end of the year as a credit on their bill. My electric rates are the lowest in the state. It was a big help to my electric bill when moved here. They are in Nebraska. I'm sure there are a number of grain industry cooperatives where a number of farmers have shares in the COOP. Must be more popular in large agricultural areas. We had a health food COOP here years ago that later turned into Wild Oats Market and then Whole Foods. The price was good in the old days. You would take home groceries in boxes instead of bags and all that. I think some of ones around here originally started in Austin TX.

He used it on plastic, carpet, and leather. He was a detail guy for a big dealership here.

I need to check today to see if I still have seats though. They might have disintegrated overnight.:eek:

I followed it up with this Leatherigue product that I've had for years. I'm not a huge fan of leather and definitely not the perforated stuff.

Grab the rear spring isolators. Good for airbag to coilspring conversions.

Ideally, never. If the trans fluid is changed on a regular maint schedule, you shouldn't have to flush it. If you are going to flush, don't do a power flush and don't do it revers to the natural flow of the system, that's when problems start. Best bet is to just change the fluid and filter.

My trans was rebuilt not too long ago (reciept in glovebox says po towed in overdrive) but the fluid has turned dark since i took possession of it, idk what fluid it has so im thinking about flushing it with the fluid i had in my tacoma that i know i regularly overheated and was still a nice red

It shouldn't need a flush then. Just change the fluid/filter. If you're really concerned with it, change just the fluid, run it for 100 miles and then change fluid and filter for the final time until it's due again. That's plenty for a flush in this case.

+1 -- I like to do the plain old drain and refill. I've seen people cause problems by shocking an old transmission. I've been able to clean up abused transmission by "sneaking up on them" with gradual drain and refills spread over a few hundred miles without problems.

A lot depends on the transmission and whether it is adequately cooled. We have an 04 Honda Civic with a horribly designed and under-cooled transmission that I drain and refill with every oil change. I monitor trans temps with scangauge on the Taco and LX. The Tacoma is ok since I don't put a lot of stress on the transmission. The LX has a big kick ass trans cooler and its temps run about as cool as I've seen on any vehicle. So I think its fluids will hold up the best under stress.

Having an external cooler helps extend the life of any transmission by keeping the fluid from getting cooked.
