If you got a welder, make those Dakars fit. I imagine some leafs speced for a fully loaded out expo 2nd gen probibly have a higher load rating than the stock tundra leafs. Or canabalize them for leafs, cant beat $100!!

I was just thinking about this today- fluid filmed before winter. Have been through the wash with high pressure underspray about 5-6 times this winter. Only spots where it has sort of washed off are the frame rails under the doors where it gets direct spray. It doesn't wash off from road spray or regular driving, but it does pick up a fair amount of road crud. I took a paper towel and wiped down a section today and film and road crud came off with one swipe, so not too hard to clean. In the spring Ill spend a half hour and roll of paper towels cleaning it off and start over.

I am amazed how FF works. I can see the outline of my frame on my blacktop driveway because it just sheds the salt and chemicals, drips them off the frame rails, but leaves the FF coating intact. I replaced my steering rack boot a couple weeks ago and wiped all the FF off the tie rods, and I can see a coating of rust on the tie rod bolt, but no rust on anything I coated- no rusted bolts, nothing. Highly recommend FF.

Y’all think the spring arch is close on those to a first gen tundra springs arch? I’d assume close since they sell the same add a leafs.

They did with me. 2020 TRD OR Prem and Tech, LED and Tonneau Cover, $44.5k MSRP, paid $39,060 before TTL (includes $500 military rebate, I took the special APR instead of the $1k). This of course was after having them compete with Elgin, was a way better experience then Elgin was.

Oh man Elgin is terrible!! The dude quoted me a price 10k lower than msrp then called me a liar when I showed up with a check to buy it on the spot. I ended up buying from countryside, they are awesome!!

Dang, wish I had known that. I will say the Chicagoland region has been a nightmare trying to get a decent price, AZ and NJ were so much easier, like you said all the usual dealership slimey tactics. Elgin did the same thing to me, took in the price quote online and then they said "well that doesn't include handling fee, etc. etc."
