This will probably seem weird to a lot of people and likely seem like a complete waste of time but I am considering adding spacers/blocks on the front to raise the front end a 1/2"...just for aesthetics. I want it close to level while still maintaining a small amount of factory rake. Planning on keeping 265/70r16 tires. Anyone have pics of this setup and also does anyone know the pros and cons of it???

    Thanks in advance!

I have Bilstein 5100's set to next to highest lift notch. I added heavy Dakar springs to the rear which lifted the back too much and gave me too much of a rake. I added a 1/2" spacer and it's almost perfect (still a slight rake).
    (I'm on 285's)

1/2" spacers are not problematic. Might stiffen the ride a touch but that's it. And 1/2" is enough to just see a difference.

Best pic I have to show it:

Do you think the half inch will change ride quality or wear out suspension components prematurely?

Absolutely not, go for it. The issues start to arise around the 2" mark.

The 1/2” spacers will get you 1” in the front. They won’t ruin driveline angles or suspension.

Get the 1/2” spacers from Headstrong. I hate the factory rake so even if you don’t want a lift or bigger tires, I think this is a good idea.

I lifted the front a half inch with 6112's,cant really tell the difference. But I was looking more for a ride improvement, not lift.

Thinking about the headstrong spacers. Wahoobie or GreyBaldTaco...either of you have any more pictures of your trucks with the 1/2 level?
