Just seems like it shouldn't be for a 245k radiator

I saw it climb at times but never broke 140. Just wasn't expecting it to be that low.

Oil is fine. Checked that today. Going to change the tranny fluid tomorrow. Well..drain and fill.

Coolant? Why? Should be fine though it's also pretty new since I've swapped radiators 2 in a two years.

More worried it's the plugs. Wires are new oem(supposedly) two years ago.

That's fair. But wouldn't cause a misfire. I seen what mixed oil and coolant does. Be very obvious if that was happening.

    Ha fun!

Sweet vid man! And sheesh what is that a landing strip in your backyard??

I just did new wires, plugs, coil boots, and routed the wires like someone with a brain (some people cannot figure it out on the 3.4).

Anywho those coil boots are easy to change and mine had lots of carbon tracking. Truck is actually happier than ever now.

That's fair. Coolant was clean though.

You can buy just the coil boots? Nice. I pulled #3 just a bit ago. Plug looked fine. Boot was fine a bit crusty on the tip bit coil in it was still clean.

    IMG_20200223_165642.jpg

I change the fluid today too and 1st doesn't slip at least going around the block. That would be so nice if it was just bad fluid. Which it could've been honestly. I think the atf I added on the trip might have been dex III. Not sure if that would do that or not..

But also got Devin's car "fixed" haha there was a real bad clunking that was wheel dependent. Thought it was on the driver side and pulled it all apart last week including the CV. Which lead me to discover that there is no diff oil just cvt fluid. Which I had to add and decided to change since I also learned that you have to change it ever 15k  crazy. So bought that stuff. To replace it I finally found a good jack point on this damn car and got it on jack stands. Replaced the fluid then put it in drive on the stand to see if I could hear the noise.

    Guess what it was?

Freaking loose lugs on the passenger side  her dad must not have torqued them right or something.

Anyways. Have two good running vehicles now so not as worried about Igor. But need to fix him.

Either way all dexrons are backwards compatible so it doesn't matter, I bet nothing changed and they just kept current with what's available on the shelf

    Huh interesting. Mine says T-IV.

But didn't think that would cause it. No idea. Have to take it on the highway to really know if it's any better. Which won't happen for a while.
