I live out in the country, one acre lot, all my neighbors have lots 1 - 5 acres. One of our next door lots has 2 trailers on it. One, we never seen anyone coming or going. My wife thinks it might be a grow house.

The other trailer has a nonstop stream of cars, trucks, motorcycles all day and night. I was working in my yard a few months back, when some guy calls me over to the fence, asks if I have a car battery charger he can borrow. I do, but I told him I don't, because I'm pretty sure I woulod never see it again if I lent it to him. He tells me his name, asks if either my wife or I smoke pot. He says he has "a buddy" about 45 minutes drive away that has a dispensary (legal in California) and also works at a local nudie bar. He says "we like to take good care of our clients, we introduce them to all the girls [at the club] whenever they come down, and hook them up with the best weed." I smoke cogars, and not thew kind filled with whacky tabaccy, either ;) And there are at least two young femals, look to be in their 20's, that are always there. One is always out in the front yard doing the weirdest things. Raking the gravel driveway. Leaf blowing the gravel driveway. Sweeping the gravel driveway..............

My wife saw the local County Probation officers show up one day and stayed around for a while, then eventually left. We're not sure who they were there for, maybe all of them.

We're pretty sure they're tweakers. Sadly, our county has an abundance of them. Thankfully, they have never done anything bad, only ever had the one interaction with them, we just celebrated our 1 year "move in" anniversary.

Leaf blowing/raking gravel = tweaker. I'm fairly confident.

When I finally end up moving out of state I’ll be making sure there’s no lots with trailers on them anywhere near.

    I’ll another one...

So at the place I use to live at there were some storage units below the 6 unit apartment complex that you could rent out. There was 4 storage units and I rented one of them. The other 3 are being rented by one person. That person owns a local glass/smoke shop here in town. They will be in and out of the storage units at all hours of the night and the storage units were packed and they would unload half the storage unit to get back to stuff that they wanted at the back. They would always have some colorful individuals with them every time they showed up to the storage units total meth heads. One time I looked out my window and there was a shirtless guy yelling at absolutely nobody because he was the only one there in the storage unit and he started punching himself in the face.Well approximately seven months ago the owner of said storage units was caught up in a shooting where somebody was murdered. I have not got any REAL information about the final outcome of the case but Facebook rumors are she sent her boyfriend over to kill somebody and the person that they were going to kill actually killed her boyfriend.

ALWAYS had a bad feeling about the people that kept coming and going from the storage units.

Would you consider a neighbor a lunatic if this sign is posted in his front yard?

Do they let you use it? That will affect my answer.

It's actually me that has the sign in the front yard, but thought I would ask it this way, having the responses determine if I share this information.

I don't think we'll ever see one worse than that snow shoveling murder in PA, I swear I'm mentally scarred from watching that.

Man I got a college story that reads like some bunny boiler shit and I never even went out with the girl next door.

Think Courtney Love look alike, declined advances, blood smeared on my door and a body getting hauled off in a body bag and her getting killed months later in a bizarre accident.

I'm glad I never got involved with the girl next door.

Not really a lunatic neighbor, but just an old bitch who complained about everything; My parents bought a brand new townhouse in 2007 and we lived there until 2016.

There was this couple in their sixties who lived across the street, probably in their 60s; They moved in sometime in 2008 I believe. They had a 2005 Ford Expedition and a 2000ish Chevy Express conversion van, both huge vehicles that could not fit in their single-wide driveway at the same time; Their townhouse only had a 1-car garage that was chronically full of junk (we had a 2-car garage and a driveway that could easily accommodate four cars). They almost always parked their high-too conversion van in one of the two overflow spaces that was directly outside our house, and it was positioned in just such a way that it blocked the view out the front window.

I got into a confrontation with this woman, Marlene, one time about that van blocking the view out our front window, but that’s not the issue here That incident is not particularly noteworthy.

One time in October, in either 2010 or 2011, I was decorating the house for Halloween; We had family over, including my aunt. I forget whether it was my aunt’s Jeep or one of our cars in the cues spot; Marlene and her husband needed to move their van out of the driveway, but there was nowhere to park it. We had my Tacoma, my mom’s minivan, my dad’s Acura, and one other relative’s car crammed into our driveway, and another relative’s vehicle in that guest spot (99% it was my aunt’s 2001 Jeep Cherokee).

I was minding my own business, decorating the house for Halloween, when Marlene walks into our yard and says very rudely, “How many freakin’ cars do you people own?”

I turned the other cheek and said we had family visiting; She stormed off in a huff.

They ended up moving because literally everybody on the street thought they were unpleasant jerks.
