I’ve got a drive in movie theater about an hour from me. My wife and I went maybe 3 times last summer now that I’ve got the truck. A few old couch cushions, my old college comforter, and a portable speaker and we had a blast!

Wow! I can’t remember how many times I rebuilt my quadrajunk before I saved up for a holley. Memories!

Once jetted right they weren't too bad.
I couldn't afford a Holly back then but yeah that would have been the way to go. My Dad knew how to squeeze the most out of a motor without spending a lot of cash so for me that Quadrajet worked just fine. That thing ran like a top thanks to him.

I looked at mine again today and I didn't notice any flashing. They just pop on.

Thanks to all. It's been three years and counting since I bought the rolling chassis, no motor and no interior. Its been a struggle at times but I've learned a lot. Many nights with busted knuckles and bleeding fingers. The trophy I got this weekend, first place in class, helped with all the frustrations.

Very nice. Definitely better off spending money on the "project " vs the truck IMO. Grew up driving a '70 and wish I still had it. Looking good. :thumbsup:1970-ford-mustang-fastback.jpg

Look good. How's the ride now and did you pick up any vibration with the lift?

Two hair factories? I thought I that I had it bad with one. Yellow Lab and black and gray interiors clash. o_O

Yep 2 yellow labs, just adopted the father in laws lab. One was bad enough! When I picked up my brand new 2020 truck it was completely covered top and underside in salt spray from being barged over from Oahu (along with a scrape on the passenger side black wheel arches), then by day two the inside was ruined by the fur factories!!

I’ve always liked feeling like I’m in a truck when I’m in a truck. It’s a little stiffer, but I don’t mind. No vibration at all.
