    In my Nitro Master Install Kits, there are more than two gasket seals. Looking at this thread, it looks like it was recommended to replace these with factory OEM seals since they were much better. So I purchased the front and rear pinion seals to replace the Nitro supplied ones (circled in this image in BLUE). However, it looks like there are two others? I'm guessing these are axles seals? (circled in RED).

    Are people also purchasing the OEM ones to replace these as well? If so, does anyone have the OEM part numbers?

    Well that didn’t fix the issue. Pinion leak is fixed but the intermittent light already came back. Any thoughts on what else it could be other than the entire diff?

    I wonder if they damaged or installed the locker indicator thing wrong. It's a possibility. Other than that, they may have stretched the elocker wiring and now it's shorting because of a break.

    It's another part. It's a plunger type switch. When the locker engages, it pulls toward the ring gear and the switch inside get pulled with it. It should have a black housing for it near the elocker connector. Its held in the housing with a single 10mm bolt.

    Anyone has slight whine when they slow down? from high speed like 50 down to 10, i hear like a light whine coming from back? am I being paranoid, and also i went under truck and check the main shaft by moving it back and worth, should there be play and how much if play is normal? just curious, i keep an eye on temp and never goes above 134F after 60+ mph on highway but curious about play and whine noise.

    let me know.

    How do you keep an eye on the temp and to such accuracy? Also, yes my gears whine when decelerating. From 55 to 50mph they whine and do it again at a lower speed but I don’t remember exactly. I just finished the initial break-in period and swapped the fluid. Everything looked fine and I’ve had zero issues. Someone will chime in, but I think it’s normal to hear them during deceleration.

    i use this https://www.amazon.com/Fluke-Infrar...hermometer&qid=1582424969&s=industrial&sr=1-5 for my temp monitoring. What about play, can you check urs on warm day after driving it just how much play u have in drive shaft up to rear gear.

    i am thinking whine is normal but want to make sure i dont miss anything, i just remember or at least i think i remember that play in shaft was small, ill measure it tommorow.

    Nice. That’ll do the trick. I’ll check it out tomorrow. How many miles do you have since the gear swap?

    Cool. Yes I’m curious to see how mine hold up at higher speeds on the interstate. I’ve still not gotten the chance to really drive it. Just swapped fluids a few days ago and have been dealing with school/work. I’ll drive it around tomorrow and let you know how my setup is doing.

    That’s normal. The shop that installed mine said that’s just a side effect of having the new gears. I don’t hear it as much because I have mud terrain tires but when I listen closely I can hear it
