Hmmm, no response in over 12hrs. He's either tied up, or tied down.. Or he was so tired from putting the "second coat" on that "bumper", he's just sleeping in. ;)

I'll give it another 12hrs before I go over to his house to make sure he's ok.

Alive. Barely. “Painting bumpers“ is a lot of work and tiresome.

I however managed to get the final coat on this morning, waiting for that to dry before i sand it down and hit it with some spray paint.

I’m not sure where the innuendos start or end.

Nope can't get the 12pt bolt out. Probably need an impact to do it. And a BFG with the bolt in hasn't worked yet.

Heat with bfh/impact gun. And if that doesn't work, turn it into liquid. Had to do the same with mine. One side just didn't want to cooperate.

Outside of going and buying new toys (which I'm not opposed to) my options are limited. If I had access to a press this would be easy peasy.

Should just get something like this...

Yeah, I hear ya. I replaced that 12pt with a standard grade 8 hex head bolt. Isn't that a 14mm 12pt? If you want to try my Milwaukee 1/2" impact on it let me know. Even some heat from just a propane torch can be enough. Doesn't have to be oxy/acetylene torch unless you want it gone and stay gone.

I used a propane torch with breaker bar in a vice to no avail. Need a 1/2" impact with 13mm 12pt and I'll give my ARB dual a workout.

I have all new hardware so I don't care about destroying what's there.

The misalignment spacer is seized on there. Use a grinder or sawzall to cut it off from the bolt.

Or just press it out of there uniball bolt and all, if you're replacing all the hardware.

Give me a call this week some time, I got you.
