Are aftermarket UCA's of any benefit if one does only light off-roading? They look cool but but what are the gains? I see alot of trucks out there that are mall crawlers, that have very elaborate suspension systems and I just cannot understand why a person would need such systems. UCA's are a very visible part of the suspension so I can only guess that many are bought for visuals and bragging rights.

For lifted trucks they correct alignment and allow more suspension travel. For mall crawlers they are expensive bling.

They allow for better driveability at highway speeds meaning "safety," so no they aren't just a mall crawler thing. They also allow for longevity on upper ball joints so potentially also a "safety" thing. And yes, they look damn good. SPCs are ugly though. Never get those :D

A lot more adjustment to fit bigger tires, and I would think if your factory UCAs were worn out it would be a better investment
