    Mornin’ whateverererers. :playball:

I’m reasonably convinced that the earth actually rotates faster on the weekends. There just isn’t enough time to do fun stuff. :pout:

Yep! I got it all reassembled on Saturday evening and had it out yesterday. What a blast!
Once I got it home, I still had enough daylight to clean it up and do some compound/wax work to the fairings and gas tank.

That's nice, I tried one of those. I'm to tall, what are the specs? I also got mine out yesterday as well.

I'm still learning about it (bought the technical manual, still reading through it) but I think it's roughly 34 HP or so, 6-speed. It's only about 350 lbs wet so it's super nimble and easy to pick it up off the ground when you drop it (ask me how I know ).

    What do you have? :bikewheelie2:

The first time I took it out, I went to a local parking lot to practice the basics. I was practicing my low-speed turns and how to feather the clutch when I happened to look down and focus on the edge of the pavement where it meets the grass. As they say in the MSF course: "Keep your head up, the bike will go where you look."
I ran the front wheel off the edge of the pavement (exactly where I was looking) onto the wet grass, and down it went. I jumped off, then simply picked it up and pushed it back up onto the pavement.

I had a 2007 Honda CBR 1000 RR for my first bike.

    Absolute blast.

Never did the MSR course, or got my license....

Only time I dropped it was when the front tire went flat. Was loading it on a trailer to transport to a tire shop and I somehow ended up on the right side of the bike, instead of the left and it kinda got away from me. It was the slowest drop known to mankind. All it did was snap the mirror off, which I was replacing anyway, so.... Win/win actually.
