I guess the only place to get craftsman stuff now is Lowe’s isn’t it?

Sears, if you can find one, might still sell them.

    Same up here..

It took my local Lowes four (4) months to get an 18 mm deep socket in. No one knew how to order it because the system said they had two in stock that were definitely not there. I’d go in and ask every three or so weeks. Get the same story. Surprised the hell out of me when they actually showed up...

I don’t understand Lowe’s carrying craftsman brand. I’m glad they do, I have a lot of craftsman tools and it’s nice to trade them if they break. Kobalt tools seam really good, not sure why they wanted to compete with themselves though.

I have a ton of Craftsman wrenches and sockets - the collection started in my teens. Two things I wish for them:

1- bring all manufacturing back to the US. It’s just wrong on many levels it went overseas; and

2- start selling (better yet, giving away on request) the wrench rebuild kits they used to have. I’d rather keep my 40 year old tool than trade it in...

Probably so someone else does sell the brand. They can control what will be available. JMO

Funny thing is I just bought new 1/4" and 3/8" flex 90 tooth ratchets. I bought Kobalt because I like the feel. It was a plus that they were on sale. I will likely get a 1/2" one next.

That is a nice set! We have one here at work, have had it for 15+ years and it's still going strong, it's not that many pieces though. That is one of those things you don't know how much you use it until you have it.
