Let's be honest. You can't make a wimpy 3.5 liter V6 sound mean. I'd kill to have my 4.7 V8 from my 4Runner in the Tacoma.

 

Hmmm. Still sounds like a small V6 with a coffee can muffler. I wonder why?

Sorry guys, I'm horrible with these forums. I am not the man in that video. Strykerseattle was doing a review for our new product. I have been silent for the last few months due to other demanding projects. The Tacoma exhaust is a passion of mine, I'm not a tacoma expert, I simply work with Stromung. I have a 2000 4runner that I love to work on and detail. But I did sell Tacoma's at a large dealership for sometime, now working with stromung to create a great exhaust for a great truck. Without it sounding like a wanna be WRX or droning once you drive on the freeway.

 

Why does the Tacoma v6 sound like complete dog s*** compared to every v6 ever....

Have had great customer reviews so far compared to other exhausts out there. Any critiques that could help us build a better one?

 

The dirty deeds straight pipe exhaust kind of makes it sound like a straight piped Infinity. Doesn’t sound great but better than stock

 

nissans 3.5l sounds good, so does the same engine in the IS350. cant be that much different besides tune and maybe a cam.

 

I'm guessing the Lexus has true dual exhaust. Actually my truck would be used for hunting in the mountains so better to be quiet anyway.

Now my 2013 Camaro SS with the Borla catback exhaust definitely pisses off the neighbors.
