Adding fog lights to my SR and noticed I don't have the screw. I seen somewhere that all Tacomas should have the screw. But either im blind or mine doesn't. I searched the part number but it doesn't come up with any hard dimensions for it. From the look of it, it doesn't seem to be anything special. I would like to think I can stop by Lowes or Home depot to grab two instead of order 2 screws online.

its a short stubby phillips head with a wood twist profile. I dont think its anything special. you probably have something laying around your house that will work if you keep all the spare parts from projects.

looks like this just with theads going up the whole screw and a tad shorter.

take a drill bit and probe the hole to get the shaft thickness

I installed fogs on my sr, the hardest part was putting the screw in because it screws in from the inside.

I think there are 2 holes for screws, but only the inside one for each fog light has it.

It's just like a half inch wood screw.

So there should be a screw somewhere in that area already there, even though I have a SR?

My 2019 SR did not have screws also. I have a million screws around this house and I need a million and two. I will use nut and bolt with washers to secure the fog lights. Don't want to risk cracking the plastic with a wood type screw.

Thanks finally installed and after a trip to get some bolts I realized I already had some that I could not find earlier. Spent the last hour organizing nuts and bolts.
