Anything they sell would be suspect in my opinion. They represent everything negative about the bro* off-road community. Vandals and crooks.


*vs just the off-road community in general, I use bro solely with negative connotation.

 

My 1.5yr old battery has died more times than I can count now. It's the reason I have a jump pack and am replacing/doubling the batteries in a few weeks. Also learned my winch was draining power off it so added a switch/relay to cut it's power.

 

Just spitball'n and maybe really reaching, but do you have an @OVTune loaded? I don't think your specs match up with others how have had issues, but could this be the dreaded "Brake Override Malfunction" that some of the tune versions had issues with? Never had it myself, but thought it might be worth thinking about.

 

Brake override failure does not cause the truck to not be startable. edit it's a 2016. This issue doesn't happen on 2016s

 

Save yourself some time and hassle. Get the battery checked out at your FLAPS(Favorite Local Auto Parts Store). It is best to start with the simplest fix first before chasing electrical ghosts. Besides, 4 years is longer than normal for a stock battery and Toyota batteries are known to fail in the exact manner you describe. Mine did.

 

Dammit! I wish you guys would stop posting pics of the puddle lights! I just ordered Matt Gecko LED bed lights and Hood light. Now I’m gonna have to order those damn puddle lights. Grrrr

I just did the the Meso Black out dash mod. Ordered the black handles. Did the lights behind the grill. Ugh. I thought I was done!!!!

 

Ha I just did the blackout too, but need to order handles. It's the only chrome left on the interior. It never ends.

Install wasn’t bad. Took us like 4 hours with three half hour breaks lol. I ordered mine on 2/3 and got it 2/20 to my door. Very impressed with the customer service, quality, and speed. Although I’m sure it’s not always that quick!

 

I found out battery is covered. Well that's what they tell me before I bring the truck in. Will use the replacement as my secondary. Therefore, need some input on a battery box to mount behind the air filter housing.

 

It sure sounds like your battery has finally gone bad.

My first choice would be a Deka battery. They have an outlet in Spring Valley.
