The Vivarium is awesome! Years ago I had several Fire Salamanders who were comfortable enough to breed... 40+ babies each time. Vivarium bought them all for $10/ea or store credit, whatever I wanted. Kinda miss those handsome bastards.

I was going up the "hill" (i.e. Sierra Nevada). I was probably in 2nd, lol

I actually don't have a problem driving in overdrive though. If it's flat and easy, there's no real reason to be running a gear high. If it's hunting for gears I'll keep it out of OD, though.

Yesss, another member told me he worked there years ago and suggested I check it out.

    I may go this Wednesday.

There are a few species of tarantula I'd like to get but it's more like "what's available"

If I can go right to a Brazilian Salmon Pink Bird Eater that'd be awesome.

I don't even like contacts. I don't think I could handle touching my eyes all the time. Two type of surgery I can't watch. Eye and knee.

I just coughed up the dough for some Oakleys. I had just gotten some new glasses in December (Dec 31, actually, lol), and then went in the next week and ordered the Oakleys since my insurance rolled over to the new year.

    The goliath bird eater.

Not used to their scientific names just yet....it'll take awhile.

I order my glasses through 39dollarglasses.com, been doing it for years. The ones I end up getting are more expensive than 40 bucks but they all start there, anyway it's always less than $80. Check 'em out, just have to upload a valid photo of your prescription the 1st time.

I have minor astigmatism but primarily I'm blind due to being massively nearsighted, I'm not sure if that effects how much they cost.

I've been doing contacts for so long I can take them out and put them in with one hand (don't have to hold my eye open) while having a conversation with someone lol.

You only touch them twice per day...when you put them in and take them out. Unless you have issues with them like allergies or whatnot

I did probably 250 miles of it last spring and summer. Im just now getting back into it since its warmish. 2.5 miles is enough to kill me now haha. Trying to go once a week and build up some stamina so 12 miles will feel like nothing like it did last year.

We have a ski resort that turns into a MTB park too, maybe this summer Ill go check it out.
