Good to know! I'm going to order everything in a few weeks when I'm back from MS. Looking forward to getting fresh suspension bits on there. Just got new uniball and bushings for my Downsouth/weld UCAs. Should ride like new when I'm done.

Any photos or links to the other trucks running the relocate kit? I’m on 35’s now and would like to go to 37’s but I don’t want to tub the firewall if I don’t have to. I’ve done it before on a 4Runner and it was a PITA

I will try to get some pics for you this week. I can tell you a minor cmc and this kit clears 35’s no problem

Well I rotated the bushings on my cab mounts to allow me to cut them back more, so my cab mounts are about as chopped as you can get without fully replacing them, and I’ve taken 3” out of the fenders. I need to work the firewall over with a sledge hammer again as my tires just kiss the firewall. I’m hoping with just a little more work and the LCA relocate that I can get a 37 to fit without having to tub it or go with a long travel kit

Well if 35’s fit your current setup 37’s are only an 1” bigger from the hub center out so pushing the arms forward 1” should get you where you need to be

My 5.29 gears came in today and now I’m tire shopping. Currently have 305/65 r17 (33’s) and a 6” DB lift. It looks like I still have at least an inch and a half for expansion all around in a resting position with the wheels cranked. Anyone have experience with how big I can go?

295/70R17s will fit for sure, with the gears 315 is an option.

You have a 6" db lift. You can fit 38s.

Looking forward to this! Ordered the red goat fab body mount relocation kit as well. I had to start running wheel spacers to clear the rear shocks on my 63 swap, and now the front rubs the firewall/body mount very badly. I wanted to do all of this anyway to move up to 37s, so it just moved my schedule ahead a bit! I'm still expecting to have to tub, but shouldn't be nearly as invasive as without this kit! Plus the extra strength + clearance under the engine will be nice.

I’ll be really interested to see how it fits with 37’s. I’m super curious if you will even need to tub

I figure 37's add an inch all the way around, so if this moves the wheel forward 1", then I will be exactly where I am now with 37s, which will need at least a bit of tubbing. Plus I rub the top of the wheel well at full compression when hitting big G-outs or bumps currently, so that's only going to get worse.

The top of the wheel well will need to get cut out, no question but the fire wall is what I’m dying to see!

well after reading this whole thread i'm going to order the kit. i've been plagued with having to get an alignment every time i go wheeling. and the stock mounts are pretty banged up. this is a rad setup.

might have to modify my bumper after but that's the cost of doing business.

now onto this steering setup? any progress or updates. i will buy now, i desperately need a better steering solution for my wheeling style. I've looked at the tundra racks and might go that route but i'm custom to my feel that i have on my rock crawler with full hydro. i realize that it wont be like that, but something that doesn't knock the wheel out of my hands on desert roads and some ability to turn in the rocks is what im after.

just ordered it after calling jessie @ JD. im getting a steel skid instead of AL. looking forward to seeing it in person.

It will be exciting to see your install.

As for the steering there is a top secret setup that will be available in the next few weeks!
