Yeah, that happens fairly often. Smoke heads don’t take kindly to temp. changes either.

 

We always had false alarms, one day in our building FD wanted to do a training video and set up smoke generator, well most of us knew about it except for one guy we thought was out at flightline, well they set off the alarm and he opens his office door and freaks out because there was smoke in the hall, we busting out laughing because we were watching the whole thing from the other side.
