2008 Tacoma InDash Navigation, Bluetooth, Auxiliary Input

Hey guys. I own a 2008 Toyota Tacoma. I'm trying to put in a reliable In-Dash Navigation system that has GPS Navigation, Bluetooth (preferably Built-In instead of ready), and an Auxiliary input. So far, I have found that Pioneer offers the Avic-F700bt and Avic-F900bt that offer all of those and more but I have heard nothing but bad things about them. Then there is the Kenwood 5120. It is more expensive and has all of the above except that it is bluetooth ready. That means i have to pay another $100 to get a bluetooth adapter for it. I also heard that it costs about $140 to get the update for the GPS maps every year. That really sucks. I am also thinking maybe I should just get the Auxiliary input seperately installed. Any suggestions? Can you guys show me your In-Dash kits?

 

I am in the market for the same thing. I have looked into the new pioneer avic 700 & 900 units but find them to be a) a little sluggish with responsiveness b) slow with boot up. I also checked what Kenwood has to offer, I looked at the 7120 and dont really like the user interface. I am personally a fan of the Pioneer Avic Z3 but can find myself willing to drop $1500+ on that unit, but it is the nicest of them all by far.... I used to have the Pioneer N1 when it first came out and was able to find updated maps for $65 so don't worry about it too much.
The specs are pretty much the same for the in-dash units under $1000. I must say though, if I had to pick between the kenwood and the pioneer I would proabably go with the Pioneer avic-90BT- It comes with an aux, bluetooth and ipod cable for about $1000. Let me know which one decide to go with either way?

 

actually, i have already bought an Avic F900bt. It should be here in a few days. I got it on ebay BRAND NEW for the incredible price of $610 shipping included. I talked to a friend that has it and he said its the best. THere are some problems here and there but pioneer is always going to be releasing free updates to fix problems. He said he actually had the 90bt as well and that was not as good. I would go with either the 900 or 700. The only difference is, 700 does not have a DVD player and the 900 does. If you're not sure if you're going to like it, go to a Best Buy or Circuit city and mess around with ones on display. That's what I did and i loved it.
