Well it ended up a bit of an ugly day, but it didn't look like panic selling since the markets hovered around 3-4% down most of the day. I wonder if it was a combination of the spreading coronavirus along with Sanders winning Nevada that scared some people. I think I'm down .75% for the day so it's not as bad as the markets being down 3.5%. Tomorrow should be interesting to see if people jump back in or keep selling.

You should read the comment sections on Zero Hedge, pretty crazy stuff man. And if we are going to be in a SHTF scenario last thing I'd be concerned about is my market exposure. Then again I don't have much in the market haha

What worries me is how low bond yields have gone

well, "SHTF" in a market sense. Although I guess there could be a little overlap in this situation depending on how bad things get

I am waiting to see how the market responds when coronavirus victims start coming back to life and try eating people. Then we will know the extent of this pandemic

Exactly. I may make my March monthly contribution early if it seems right lol. Even though I’m taking a little hit with my stocks now but I’m in this for the long haul investing so here’s to buying while the prices are down!

Lol I spoke too early. Wow. Anyone thinking about doubling down? If it drops another 1000 points this week it's tempting.

Switzerland just got their first case of COVID-19, and Iran's deputy health minister apparently has it. So I wouldn't be doubling down anytime soon.. that's just me

Italy is going to be the driver. They have over 200 cases now and that is a western country where it wasn't expected to spread well. China made sense due to overpopulation and hygiene issues, but Italy is the path to the rest of Europe for the virus if it isn't put under control in the next few weeks.

Also the fact that it is western will scare people in the US.
