I sold my stuff to a 4runner guy as it gives them a little lift. I'm interested in the 650 coils. I have 885's right now that are 590lb spring rate but plan on getting the US off road bumper as soon as we can get 2 more in the group buy and also a winch, so I may need to up grade after I install to see if there's any sag. So if you are just going to toss them, I'll definitely come get them from you if you don't want to move them.

The link says the are 330.20mm in length. The 885's are 395mm in length. If that is the case, then I think those will be too short and too skinny for me and my 5100's if they came on fox 2.5's.

 

I use eraser wheels all the time for this purpose. I'd suggest for a newbie to put it on a strong cordless drill before trying it on an air tool. Unless you have some form of regulator or you're great at throttling the speed, you can easily burn thru the paint with an air tool running the wheel.

But so worth it. I took my wife there on our first "outdoorsy" date and figured if she can manage those stairs in July heat, she's a keeper. Providence is next on our "Canyon Climbers Club" list that the GA State Parks has. (get a card stamped by the staff at each "canyon" on their list & you get a shirt)

Only $20 and you can accomplish them as you like with no time limits. Money obviously well spent on our parks. Wife and I have knocked out the north GA ones due to living in Gwinnett and making it day trips, but the Providence One will end up likely being a camping weekend.

 

I know there's a forum here for tires, but I'd rather hear from folks more local to me since we all battle the same weather and roads. I'm about to pull the trigger on all-terrain rubber on a BoGo deal. After about 45k on my Cooper Discoverer RTX's, I'm considering changing brands to the General Grabber ATX, Grabber AT2, and Hankook Dynapro AT2's. Primarily interstate and Gwinnett driving but some gravel and forestry roads are possible (minimal towing and 2wd so no need for an LT). Any of you guys have any experience with those 2 brands/models?

 

I'm on my 4th set of General Grabber AT2 tires. 1st set was on a Kia Sorrento, 2nd set on my Tacoma, 3rd set on our 4Runner and 4th set is what is currently on my Tacoma.

They are a great price, made in America (last time I checked), have the snowflake symbol for severe winter conditions, and have a great warranty. For those, reasons, I think that they are hard to beat. I think they are phasing out the AT2 in favor of the ATX which has an almost identical tread pattern. Only difference I can discern is the sidewall. So if you can get an ATX in the size and load rating that you want (E load rating is unnecessary, heavy, and stiff), then I wouldn't hesitate to get them. Though, you might be able to find a really good deal on the AT2.

I've had mine on snow/ice, sand, rock and everything in between and have been very pleased with them. They also aren't excessively loud on the highway.

A buddy of mine ditched his Dynapros in favor of Cooper brand and has been happy.

 

As for the Canyon Climbers club....wish I'd have known about that, as we've already done Amicolola and Tallulah with the kids. I'd do them again for the bragging rights, but 3 kids under 4 on those stairs is a bit of a pain.

I’m from Dallas Texas came to work here in Savannah Georgia. I was wondering is there any fishing spots y’all recommend. Can I drive in the beach out here and fish? This state is beautiful but it would be better if I can drive on the beach sand and fish off the back of my truck
