Haha thanks. Maybe chop the floorboards and power it the old Flintstones way?

As stated before, I highly suggest they look into buying BEFORE entering Colorado, whether that be stopping in any of the states along the way. The price inflation on Tacomas is often multi-thousands. Definitely worth their time or even just pulling up auto trader and grabbing a decent deal along the way. Plus traveling means they would be able to meet with any private party sellers along the way before getting here. They will get a lot more truck for the money if they buy before getting here

Appreciate it, that makes a lot of sense... I will pass along your advice...

Totally understand their situation but there is definitely a reason why many of us will travel to purchase a vehicle, just trying to save them some money but also understand that time is a very important resource as well

Truth, it was cheaper for me to fly to Austin, pay for a flight, hotel room, fuel, and time away from work when I bought a car I wanted once

    Whoa... :hattip:
If it were me, I’d enjoy an adventure like this.
I live in ATL and have bought my cars/trucks in Tallahassee, Boone, and Knoxville just to avoid the metro ATL market pricing.

Those adapters only work with the newer adjustable bed racks, not the Tacoma specific NON-adjustable ones.

I have one of the 12" aluminum racks so I'm SOL with the tonneau cover. Boo.

it still moves under its own power but has a cracked transmission pan and no fluid. I'm tempted to JB weld it and fill it to see how long it lives but it's my roommate's car and I want it gone

Shoot, I'm sorry! Did me trying to sell my Tacoma part in a Tacoma Buy/Sell thread upset you? If so, didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

I was thinking around $250. This wouldn't be for about a month out since I will be out of country till then. Something that may interest you?
