    Hi all,

I'm in need of some advice. I'm getting some Falcon Wildpeaks installed on Wednesday. Considering going with 265/75R16

    Questions are,

I believe this is a size up from factory?
    Will the tire rub?
Has anyone experienced any mpg decrease because of a larger tile size.

    Tacoma is a V6 auto.

Does anyone have a pic of a Tacoma without lift with this size and or personal experiences/advice with going up to this tire size?

Thank you so much. Any words of wisdom are APPRECIATED.

OP those tires should not rub, but all trucks are different. Please use the search, or better yet use Google and type site: tacomaworld.com 265/75r16 or something like that.

they won’t rub, and if they do it will be on the front air flap deal that’s only 2 bolts to take off

They shouldn't rub at all you should be perfectly safe. I believe there is a whole thread in here for that size tire

I don't see a need to delete. Sometimes the search function here is a real pita. More often than not I get absolutely nothing out of it. All of us had to learn about these things somewhere. Are there constantly questions asked on here about tires and sizes? Yep but somebody usually provides a decent answer

I personally had major issues with Falken Wildpeaks (same size) and had to trim my inner liner. I bought 4 new AT3W's online, had vibration and 2 were crap (per Discount Tire).

Had 4 replacements come in and 1 was crap (per Discount Tire). Ended up sending them all back to Falken for refund, and they were awesome about it. Switched to KO2's instead - couldn't be happpier.

I've run 265/75/16 Falken's for two years. No rubs, no issues... Ride smooth, wear well, great year-round traction! Also run them on my wife's FJ Cruiser.

I have this exact setup and i did have to remove front guards in front of the steer tires, they would rub when i would reverse and turn. like someone else said, two bolts and they're off. never had an issue after that.
The Tires have been awesome so far.

varies everyone setup is different; brands, remove mud flaps, aftermarket wheels, etc. is it really worth the extra hassle for 1 size up? some people don't mind. im a stock guy so id stick to stock just my 2 cents. Discount tires price matches everything I went with older Hankook ATM but these are great price for stock size.
